Anatomical Pathology Registrar

This is a five-year program accredited by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. The Department of Anatomical Pathology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Hospital accepts trainees at all levels.

Trainees must apply to the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia Victorian Trainee Selection Scheme and Melbourne Health for a position.

Further to the accreditation requirements of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia trainees are expected to be involved in laboratory rotations including Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital, The Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine and The Victorian Cytology Service.
