HMO PGY2+ Rotations at RMH
HMO’s rotate through four (4) 13 week rotations which are streamed into Specialist Medical, Specialist Surgical or combine these to undertake a Mixed roster year. If you are applying for a Medical Surgical or Mixed stream please apply for only ONE stream via the PMCV unless applying for the joint RMH/RWH positions, for which applicants are able to apply for a second stream.
Below is a list of rotations available to HMOs. Please be aware that all streams have access to the ‘general’ rotations. HMOs undertaking a Mixed year will need to preference all rotations available. All rotations are based at RMH City Campus unless specified otherwise.

Royal Women's Hospital joint position
During this position you will spend six months continuously at each hospital. Which rotations you complete are determined by each Hospital – for RMH you will be asked to preference a Mixed rotation preference form.
